What’s it About? (Plot/Synopsis)
So, Aana is about this young woman named Anna who’s just living her life, minding her own business—until some men, with clearly zero morals, kidnap her. Things go from bad to worse real quick—they torture her for reasons that aren’t justifiable in any universe. But just when it seems like she’s completely broken, something awakens inside her. Not just inner strength—like actual power. And from there, it’s all about revenge, justice, and making sure those who think they run the world get a taste of their own medicine.
It’s like Kill Bill meets Kahaani, with a supernatural twist thrown in.

What I Thought (Review)
Okay, let me start with this—I went into Aana expecting a typical revenge story. But it surprised me. Not because the plot is brand new (we’ve seen the “wronged woman fights back” storyline before), but because of the way it was told.
Ankitha, who plays Anna, owns the screen. She doesn’t start off as some fearless warrior. She’s just… real. Vulnerable. And when her world falls apart, you really feel it. There were moments where I literally clenched my fists in frustration watching what she went through. And then—bam! That shift when she taps into her power? Chills.

The cinematography is dark and moody (in a good way), and it fits the vibe perfectly. I also liked how they didn’t rush the revenge. You get to sit with her pain, which makes the payoff more satisfying.
Is it perfect? Nah. Some side characters are pretty flat, and a few scenes felt a bit over-the-top. But honestly, when you’re watching a woman go full-on fury mode with mystical vibes, you kinda let those things slide.

Would I Recommend It?
✅ Yes, definitely. If you’re into revenge stories, strong female leads, and a bit of the supernatural, Aana is worth a watch. It’s intense, emotional, and honestly kind of cathartic. Watch it with snacks—and maybe not right before bed because, yeah, it gets dark. For more movie review and updates visit filmyfly!
