Plot / Synopsis:
So, the basic idea is this—what if you found out there were two other people in the world who looked exactly like you? That’s what happens to Siddharth when he stumbles upon this app that connects doppelgängers (I kinda wish this app existed in real life just to see how close my “twins” are 😄).
He meets Manjunath and Michael—his lookalikes—and at first, it’s all buddy-buddy and cool. But things get shady real fast when one of them turns out to have a seriously dark side. What starts as a quirky meet-up turns into a tense thriller where identities blur, and trust is pretty much non-existent. Let’s just say… not everyone is who they seem.

Review:
Okay, so I went into Amigos thinking it’d be just another action flick with a gimmick—but it actually surprised me. First off, hats off to Kalyan Ram. Playing one character is hard enough, but this guy juggled three and made each one feel different. I especially loved him as Michael—the creepy, unhinged one. Totally gave me goosebumps.
The story does take a bit to get going, and I’ll admit, I was checking my phone during the first 20 minutes. But once the twist hits? I was hooked. It reminded me a bit of those older thrillers where the villain is hiding in plain sight and you’re yelling at the screen like, “Nooo, don’t trust him!”
The action scenes were slick, and while some parts felt a little rushed or convenient, I was entertained the whole way through. Ashika Ranganath did a decent job, though her role could’ve used more screen time. Brahmaji and Saptagiri added that classic Telugu comedy touch—light breaks between all the intensity.
Recommendation:
👍 Recommended – If you’re into fast-paced thrillers with a twist and love seeing an actor pull off multiple roles (and nail it), Amigos is worth a watch.
