Plot / Synopsis:
Alright, so Baby is one of those spy thrillers that doesn’t waste time with fluff. It’s about a secret government team out to stop terrorist threats before they even become headlines. Akshay Kumar plays Ajay Singh Rajput — the guy you send when failure is not an option. He and his team hop across countries chasing down bad guys, trying to stop a major attack. No capes, no slow-mo hero shots, just sharp, real-world action.

Review:
I remember watching Baby on a random weekend when I just wanted something intense, but not over-the-top. And man, it delivered. Akshay Kumar totally disappears into his role — no silly comedy, no unnecessary songs — just focused, badass energy.
One scene that stuck with me was Taapsee Pannu’s hotel fight. I had zero expectations, but she owned that scene. It was the kind of moment that made you sit up and go, “Wait, is she about to outshine everyone?” Spoiler: she did.

The whole film feels slick without being flashy. There’s no masala or forced patriotism — it’s serious, smart, and keeps you on edge. Plus, Anupam Kher’s dry humor adds just enough lightness without messing with the tone.
Recommend or Not?
Definitely recommended.
If you like spy stuff, tight action scenes, and no-nonsense storytelling, Baby is totally worth your time. It’s like the Indian version of Mission: Impossible — just more grounded. I’ve rewatched it twice, and it still holds up. For more movie updates visit filmyfly!
