You ever buy something second-hand and wonder about its past? Well, Pavalakkodi (played by Nayanthara) buys an old car, and let’s just say… she gets way more than she paid for. This isn’t just some rusty, unreliable vehicle—it’s got a ghostly passenger. Weird things start happening. The car moves on its own, hunts people down, and seems to have a serious revenge plan. Now, Pavalakkodi isn’t the type to run away. She digs into the car’s history, and what she finds? Yeah, it’s dark. The big question—will she be able to stop it, or is she the next victim?

Review:

Alright, let’s talk about Dora. I went into this expecting the usual horror stuff—girl buys cursed object, spooky things happen, lots of screaming. But this? This actually felt different.

First off, Nayanthara is a total boss in this movie. No helpless heroine running for her life here. She owns every scene, and her chemistry with her father adds some nice, funny moments. Horror movies rarely give us good father-daughter relationships, so this was refreshing.

Now, let’s talk about the car. I mean, it’s basically the villain. And somehow, it works! The way it moves on its own, how it “chooses” its victims—it’s creepy but also kinda cool. There were moments I legit held my breath. Some scenes had me side-eyeing my own car, wondering if it had any unfinished business.

That said, the CGI could’ve been better. Some effects felt a bit off. And there are a few slow parts where you just want the story to move faster. But overall? It kept me hooked.
