🧠What’s it About?
So I, Me aur Main is about this guy named Ishaan (played by John Abraham) who’s basically the definition of a man-child. He’s got the looks, the charm, and a pretty decent job as a music producer—but emotionally? He’s still figuring life out. He lives with his girlfriend Anushka (Chitrangada Singh), who honestly deserves a trophy for putting up with his nonsense for so long.
Eventually, she kicks him out (and rightly so), and for the first time in his life, Ishaan has to adult—like, actually adult. Then comes Gauri (Prachi Desai), the sweet, bubbly neighbor who helps him see things from a different perspective. There’s some drama, some romance, and a plot twist I didn’t exactly see coming. It’s all about love, self-growth, and growing up—finally.

đź’¬ My Take on It:
Okay, so first things first—John Abraham looks ridiculously good in this movie. Like, I don’t know if he ages or what, but wow. That aside, the film is… decent. Not mind-blowing, not terrible—just that in-between kind of movie you might put on during a lazy Sunday afternoon when you’re in your feelings.
Ishaan’s character really reminded me of this one friend I had in college—always charming, always the life of the party, but absolutely allergic to taking responsibility. Watching Ishaan struggle with basic adulting tasks was weirdly therapeutic. Like, yes bro, welcome to the club. We’ve been here paying bills and making life decisions while you were out here living like a rockstar.

Prachi Desai was such a breath of fresh air in this. She made the second half of the movie feel lighter and more hopeful. The chemistry wasn’t mind-blowing, but it was cute. Chitrangada Singh, on the other hand, played her part like a boss. Super grounded and strong—you could feel her frustration.
Also, the music? Surprisingly nice. I found myself humming “Na Jaane” later that evening. You know a movie soundtrack sticks when it sneaks into your playlist without warning.

👍 So, Should You Watch It?
Yeah… sure. I’d say give it a watch if you’re in the mood for a light, feel-good drama that touches on relationships, growing up, and figuring yourself out. It’s not gonna shake up your world or anything, but it might give you a warm fuzzy feeling (or make you text your ex… please don’t). For ore movie reviews and updates visit filmyfly!
If you like John Abraham and are okay with a story that doesn’t go too deep, this one’s for you.
