Plot / Synopsis:
Okay, so Mann is one of those old-school Bollywood love stories that hits you right in the feels. It’s about Dev (Aamir Khan), this smooth-talking, super charming guy who’s basically engaged to money, and Priya (Manisha Koirala), a sweet, thoughtful teacher who’s also promised to someone else. They meet on a cruise (because of course, love always finds you on a boat), and boom — sparks fly.
But instead of jumping into a full-blown affair, they decide to go their separate ways, fix their lives, and meet again six months later if they still feel the same. Of course, nothing goes according to plan — and what follows is romantic, heartbreaking, and pretty dramatic.

Review:
I still remember watching Mann on a rainy afternoon at home, curled up with chai and snacks — classic Bollywood setup, right? That opening scene on the cruise had me hooked. It was giving major Titanic-but-make-it-Indian vibes.
Aamir Khan plays his charming-but-flawed character really well. He starts off as this cocky ladies’ man, but as the movie goes on, you actually see him change, and it feels real. Manisha Koirala is so graceful, and she just has this calmness that makes you root for her.

One thing that really sticks with you is the music. I can’t count how many times I’ve hummed “Nasha Yeh Pyar Ka Nasha Hai” after hearing it once. The soundtrack is pure 90s gold — emotional, melodic, and super catchy.
Now, is it a bit dramatic? Oh yeah. Like, major melodrama alert. There’s one twist that had me staring at the screen like, “Wait… WHAT just happened?” But honestly, that’s part of the charm. If you grew up watching Bollywood in the 90s, this movie will feel like a warm, slightly over-the-top hug.
That said, the pacing does slow down in places. A few scenes feel like they could’ve been edited down, and some characters don’t really add much. But overall, the emotional payoff is worth it.
