Plot / What It’s About:
Okay, so OMG: O Manchi Ghost is basically what happens when a group of slightly clueless people end up in a haunted house… and the ghost isn’t your typical horror movie ghost. It’s got personality—like, if Casper and a stand-up comedian had a baby. The story tries to mix a little bit of horror, a lot of comedy, and even some emotional beats toward the end. You’ll get your jump scares, sure, but most of the time you’ll just be laughing at how ridiculous (in a good way) things get.

Trust me, the trailer gives you a pretty good idea of the kind of vibe this movie has.
My Thoughts:
I went into this with zero expectations—honestly just wanted something light to watch after a long week. And man, this film was unexpectedly fun. Vennela Kishore steals the show with his expressions and comic timing (as usual). There’s this one scene where he reacts to the ghost appearing for the first time, and I swear, I laughed harder than I should’ve.
Also, if you grew up watching horror comedies like Geethanjali or Anando Brahma, this gives off a similar vibe—but with even more silliness. And I say that lovingly. It’s the kind of film where the plot doesn’t matter as much as the people involved and the chaos they create. Shakalaka Shankar also has his moments that made me go, “This dude’s just freestyling at this point!”
That said, the second half drags a bit. It feels like they weren’t quite sure how to wrap things up, so it kind of throws everything at you in the last 20 minutes. But by then, you’re already invested in the madness, so you roll with it.

Would I Recommend It?
Yep, I would.
But only if you’re in the mood for something goofy and don’t mind over-the-top comedy. Don’t go looking for logic or spine-chilling horror. This one’s more about chilling with your friends, having some popcorn, and laughing at people running from ghosts that look like they’re auditioning for a sitcom.
