Plot/Synopsis: Alright, so Patient Seven kicks off with Dr. Marcus, this grumpy, no-nonsense psychiatrist, heading to an asylum to interview six of its most extreme patients. He’s supposedly researching for a book, but honestly, it feels more like he just enjoys messing with unstable minds. Each patient tells their horrifying backstory—some of which are outright nightmare fuel. But here’s the kicker: the more he digs, the more it feels like there’s something seriously off about the asylum itself. And let’s just say, by the end, you’ll be questioning who the real crazies are.

Review: If you love horror anthologies, Patient Seven is like a twisted gift that keeps on giving. It’s got everything—ghosts, psychological horror, gore, and even a few stories that’ll have you nervously checking your surroundings. Michael Ironside absolutely nails the role of Dr. Marcus. He’s got that intimidating presence that makes you wonder if he’s the real villain here.

Now, not every story hits the mark. A couple feel like they’re riding on familiar horror tropes, but there are some seriously unsettling gems in here. One segment, in particular, had me gripping my seat—I won’t spoil it, but let’s just say it involved an unexpected “guest” that made me reconsider my nightlight situation.

The overall vibe of the film is dark and eerie, and the soundtrack does a great job of making sure you never feel at ease. If you’re someone who loves a good psychological twist and doesn’t mind a little blood splatter, this is a fun, creepy watch.

Recommended or Not? If you love anthologies and don’t mind a little unpredictability, absolutely give this one a shot. But if you prefer your horror with a more straightforward plot, this might not be your cup of tea.
