Plot / What’s It About?
Alright, so PT Sir is a Tamil comedy-drama that takes us into the life of a sweet, down-to-earth physical training teacher (played by Hiphop Tamizha Adhi) at a government school. He’s the kind of teacher we all wish we had growing up — kind, encouraging, and genuinely cares about his students. But things take a turn when he ends up standing up for those kids against some shady stuff happening in the system. What starts off as light-hearted school vibes slowly turns into a David vs. Goliath kind of story.

My Thoughts (The Review):
Watching PT Sir honestly reminded me of my old school PT teacher — he wasn’t just about drills and pushups; he was the guy who’d sneak snacks to the backbenchers and give pep talks before exams. That’s the kind of energy Adhi brings to this role.
The movie hits that sweet spot between funny and emotional. It doesn’t go too over-the-top with the drama, and the comedy feels very grounded. There were scenes that made me laugh out loud (especially anything with Munishkanth), and a few that made me pause and think — especially about how teachers really are the unsung heroes.

Sure, the story gets a little predictable in parts — like you can kind of guess where it’s heading — but it’s still engaging. And Adhi, who I mostly know for his music, did a great job carrying the emotional weight here. Also, shoutout to the student characters — they felt real, not just background extras.

So, Should You Watch It?
Yeah, totally recommended.
If you’re into feel-good stories with a bit of humor and heart, PT Sir is worth the watch. Especially if you’ve had that one special teacher who made a difference in your life — this one will hit you right in the feels.
